Yeah, so what’s good? Since we’re approaching the release of the “OverSTAND” EP I thought it would be cool to look at some of the songs from ‘Stand Up Music’ and kind of give a some insight about the how the song came about, etc.

“Move On” is a simple expression of my opinion on where music is and where it should go from here… The beauty of music (art in general) is seeing it evolve into it’s different phases… It just seemed that the next phase wasn’t coming soon enough.

If you stop and listen to what’s being said you’ll be throughly impressed with this first outing. Many songs cover personal topics as well as the occasional jab at the Hip Hop community as it doesn’t stand for anything these days.
The production work is fine but this is an example of hip hop circa 1989, beats and breaks are minimal nothing too complex but the verbal gymnastics are top notch. Had he come out with this 20 years ago he would have been hailed as the next great MC but in today’s hip-hop environment my man Hot Sauce will have to settle for being called a hidden gem.

I’m very proud of how this joint came out…almost...
